Philip White Tyres, Belfast depot has been awarded the status of "Accredited Centre" as part of Bridgestone's First Stop Retail Quality Programme.  The accreditation is awarded to recognise exceptional performance in the areas of customer service, technical capability and depot appearance.

The First Stop quality programme has been running since 2004 and has been very successful in raising the standards of service within the industry.

At the NTDA Northern Ireland Regional meeting held on the 13th May at the Templeton Hotel in Templepatrick, Regional Chairman, Dasos Michaelides, provided an update on recent training activity in the region.

He explained that many Government departments in NI now insist that suppliers have relevant training in place. One such department had put out a notification to say that nobody is permitted to fit tyres to its vehicles unless they hold a relevant qualification (e.g. Diploma in Tyre Fitting Level 2 IMI / City and Guilds).

Pirelli’s Ultra High Performance tyres have been made to measure for the latest Porsche Macan, with original equipment homologations for the P Zero, Scorpion Verde and the Scorpion Verde All Season.
